                 COMPETITIVENESS

When you find it difficult to define your own worth you begin to compete with others.
It is easier to beat another rather than be your own best.
When you fear testing yourself.....you are the most
competitive.
When you compete.... those actions mainly come from envy and insecurity...rather than from choice.
You need to win and you need to be first.....and it does not matter at what.....just so long as you are on top and people are looking up to you.
Being competitive must needs involve an audience, even if it is just one other person.  Needing someone else to beat or please means that pleasing yourself just isn't good enough or you don't believe it is possible. Truly great creative accomplishments do not need you to compete with another.... it mostly comes from individuals pleasing themselves.
When you please yourself....your triumph is short...as the courage of your success ...immediately leads you on to test your worth again.
Competitive people do win....but real growth only comes when they act for themselves.   CO
