WITHIN THE HEART
The earth with its plains and mountains tall
Is such a small world after all,
As in hope and anxiety to life we cling
While from the distance new friendships spring.
It was only yesterday friends were sought,
But today they live in mind and thought,
And though far away and miles apart,
A friendship dwells within the heart.
